What is the pro-life movement?

What is a pro-life view on abortion?

In the case of abortion, the pro-life view recognises the right to life of both mother and child (cases where there is a supposed conflict will be addressed below). Pro-lifers usually hold that the above practices should be illegal too.

What is the difference between pro-life and pro-choice?

Pro-life campaigners are also opposed to assisted suicide, euthanasia, and “embryo-destructive research”. Pro-choice campaigners, on the other hand, believe that women should be given the autonomy to make their own decisions about their body, without the interference of the state, church, or anyone else.

Is the pro-life movement a political divide?

It is also often cast as a clear political divide, with those on the right opposing the practice and those on the left supporting it.
